Host Cancellation Policy

This local host has a no cancellation policy. Their policy is no refunds and no rescheduling. During winter months road conditions may require that you need a 4-wheel drive (if snow or ice is on the ground). No refunds will be given due to inability to get to cabin due to road conditions or grade of driveway. No shows will forfeit any monies put down. After booking, the host offers a Vacation Guarantee for 7% of your total reservation. This enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 30 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 4 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 5 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods, the Vacation Guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. This is an optional charge post-booking that you can elect to pay directly to the local host company.

Good Stay

We enjoyed our stay. The Aunt Bugs representative was Great and very helpful. The cabin location was just what we wanted. It was A Busy weekend and we were able to get around pretty easy. The cabin needs some updating but was clean. we would visit again.

Dirty and Worn Needs a Refresh

Though the people at the office were nice the cabin was worn and in need of investing the cleaning and maintenance fees back into the location. I’m normally not one for bad reviews, but I wanted to give you a list of things to verify have been addressed before you book your stay. All of them are simple fixes, but the list is long and more than I wanted to take time to tell the staff about. Here is a list of the items noted during our stay that were dirty or broken. Dirty: Walls had cobwebs on them, bathrooms had dust, coffee pot was filthy, closets were full of clutter, carpet is stained and worn, porch needs pressure washed. Items broken or worn out during stay: Light fixture in main bedroom, hot tub had to be repaired during our stay, couch and pillows are past end of life, pool table needs resurfaced, blinds have multiple missing slats, for sale sign knocked down and dirty.

Don’t rent with aunt Bugs unless you can get a in person look at the cabin u r renting

Everything I expected not to be with the man Eric in the office telling that the cabin that I was going to be staying in had no problems and basically in perfect condition. But when I finally settled in there were numerous problem and they house keeper is lazy, they still left the same bedding in the bed from the last visitors, i know because they had stains on the blankets and pillowcases. Also the drawers were broke the hot water didn’t get hot on the upper level, the front porch was not fully put together, they didn’t refill the hot tub also a my niece fell through the step inside the house coming from her room. No new cleaning products just the same complimentary bottles that the last person used. Blinds missing on bedroom door so you could see right through the room and I have proof of everything I’m saying on here. But the guy Eric Tried to make it seem like I wasnt telling the truth because I wanted to switch cabins after reading the reviews before I came to the cabins, after purchasing, which that was ass backwards. Also the tv upstairs has a few problems. I’m just over it with this cabin and company. Never will I rent through them again nor will I refer them to anyone. For the simple fact they don’t know how to work things out which he was supposed to moved me to one if I did run into some problems when I got here but no he did the opposite, he avoided doing anything to make my stay a good one. So kudos to Eric!!!

Never again

The house was close to a compost center and the stench was horrible. We had a flood on our bed under the tub from upstairs when the jets were turned on. When I called about it, they did nothing. Other problems are numerous.
